molinaro private collection

With the arrival of the autumn season, the OMNIUM Association will inaugurate a culturally significant event by presenting, for the first time to the public, an exceptional private art collection. The event will take place on Friday, September 19, at 6:30 PM at the gallery at Via Tubetti 3, Nimis (UD). Open to both members and non-members, the evening will showcase the prestigious Molinaro family private collection.

The show presents a small but meticulously curated private collection, where the focus is not on quantity but on the quality and coherence of the artistic choices.
The collection brings together significant works spanning from Neorealism to Pop Art, Kinetic Art and contemporary practices. Featured artists include Toffolo Anzil, a leading figure of Friulian Neorealism; Mario Schifano, a central figure of Italian Pop Art; Julio Le Parc, master of Kinetic Art; Giorgio Celiberti, Rabarama, Nunziante, Sassu and other international names. The selection covers both painting and sculpture, figurative and abstract approaches, creating a conversation among materials, colors and artistic gestures, while maintaining a harmonious balance.

What defines this collection is its ability to unite diverse artistic languages and generations, highlighting how each work contributes to the broader narrative of Italian and international
creativity. The exhibition allows visitors to appreciate the material and chromatic details up close, gaining insight into the artistic decisions behind this carefully built selection.
The finissage marks the conclusion of the exhibition and provides a moment to reflect on the role of private collections in promoting contemporary art and preserving cultural heritage. It offers scholars, collectors and art enthusiasts the chance to engage with works that, though kept in private hands, narrate the story of modern and contemporary creativity.
