On the occasion of the prestigious Architecture Biennale, Lia Omnium, in collaboration with Tekna Costruzioni, is pleased to present the photographic exhibition GONDAR – A Story of Shovels, Stones, People, and Blood, a tribute to the extraordinary life and achievements of Giovanni Zuliani, a construction entrepreneur who, during the devastating Abyssinian war, courageously contributed to the construction of roads and vital infrastructure for the advancement of Italian troops.

Giovanni Zuliani founded his company, dedicating himself with passion not only to his work but also to the training of his workers, imparting the values of commitment and dedication.

Under the leadership of Giuliano Zuliani, the company became a cornerstone of the construction sector, bearing witness to the legacy of an entrepreneur who, with determination and foresight, left an indelible mark on the regional building landscape.

To this day, this legacy remains one of the most established and respected realities in the region, continuing to honor the legacy of a family that devoted its life to construction and the well-being of its community.

The exhibition GONDAR – A Story of Shovels, Stones, People, and Blood is not only a tribute to the memory of Giovanni Zuliani but also a visual narrative that celebrates his tireless dedication and indomitable spirit. It is a journey into the past that reminds us how the art of construction has been, and continues to be, a fundamental element in the growth and progress of every community.
