around biennale

From March 28 to April 27 2025, the Omnium Association will host a series of exclusive events for its members at its ArtGallery & Workshop in Udine, refl ecting the extraordinary artistic experiences showcased during the 2024 Venice International Art Biennale. This exhibition, titled AROUND BIENNALE, offers a unique opportunity to revisit a selection of works and installations that encompass a wide range of artistic expressions.

The fi rst event, PARALLEL VISUALS, was the main exhibition that marked Omnium’s participation in the Biennale. It was inaugurated with a spectacular vernissage and remained open to visitors throughout the duration of the Venetian event. Contributing to the defi nition of Omnium’s Biennale experience, PARALLEL VISUALS showcased the work of artists Vittorio Menditto and Omar Ronda, who, through their remarkable vision and emotional language, explored new territories within contemporary art, fostering an intense dialogue between diverse expressive and visual modes.

The second event on the schedule, RELATE, was offi cially presented during the Venice Design Week in October 2024. Conceived by the artist Abdeljalil Makhloufi , known as Maklo, the project was developed within Omnium for the Venice Design Week. Its mission is to break down the physical and psychological barriers that people with disabilities face every day, by enhancing interpersonal relationships. The initiative promotes collaboration and inclusion, transcending gender, social, economic, and cultural differences, with the aim of creating a new world where relationships form the foundation for building collaborative and stimulating connections. This event is directed not only at the socio-healthcare sector but also at other fi elds, promoting self-suffi ciency and inclusion as fundamental values.

Closing the exhibition are two highly impactful events that marked the grand fi nale of the Biennale.

THE FOUR SEASONS, is an immersive audiovisual experience that took the audience on a unique sensory journey. The work, created by artists Paolo Jins Gillone and Mirko Rispoli, with a soundtrack by composer Joy Kitikonti, explores the cycles of nature and the seasons, creating a bridge between technology and sensory perception.

Finally, LIVING STATELESS PAVILLION, an interactive performance that stood out for its evocative power, featured artist Marco Abisso presenting his “living installation,” specially created for the Venice Biennale.
